Gymnastics

• Designing, retrofitting of existing roof along with re-grading of slope to prevent leakage and replacement of bearing.
• Executing the same at about 30 M height from ground.
• It required intricate safety measures to ensure stability of roof structure during replacement and addition of members, without disturbing the old structure.
• Air velocity shall not exceed 0.3m/s for enabling the sport of rhythmic gymnastics.

Wrestling

Cycling Velodrome

• An indoor fully air-conditioned Cycling Velodrome timber track for the first time in the country
• Curved seating tier to follow the track geometry for better sight lines from each seating location
• Entry tunnels for athletes and technical officials in the field of play.
• Very short time span for construction – 17 months
• State of art Sports Lighting and Public Address System.
• Extreme precision in construction for homologation for Category – I by International Cycling Federation.
• First of its kind in the country and accredited to be 2nd best in the world after Beijing.

• Fully covered and Air conditioned
• Steel structure with two large longitudinal arches of span 150 m. and crown height    33 m. Each arch is made of 2.5 m diameter steel pipe.
• 250 m timber track by replacing existing 333 m. concrete track.
